Description
A manufacturing employer in Monteregie is looking for a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing OHS programs, conducting risk assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment across all production areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update health and safety prevention programs
- Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver OHS training to employees and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with CNESST regulations and environmental standards
- Lead joint health and safety committee meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field
- 3 to 5 years of OHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough knowledge of Quebec OHS legislation and CNESST requirements
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- CRSP or equivalent certification an asset
