Description
We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to oversee the entire HR strategy within a rapidly growing organization. This key role involves managing compensation policies, organizational development, labour relations and succession planning. You will be an active member of the executive committee and play a decisive role in aligning HR practices with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the strategic HR vision
- Supervise recruitment, training and organizational development teams
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal labour laws
- Lead employee engagement and talent retention initiatives
- Manage union relations and collective bargaining
- Oversee performance management and compensation programs
- Advise senior management on human capital issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations or related field
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience including 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Solid experience in labour relations and organizational development
- Strong strategic leadership and change management skills
- CHRP designation an asset
