VP Human Resources

Description

We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to oversee the entire HR strategy within a rapidly growing organization. This key role involves managing compensation policies, organizational development, labour relations and succession planning. You will be an active member of the executive committee and play a decisive role in aligning HR practices with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the strategic HR vision
  • Supervise recruitment, training and organizational development teams
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal labour laws
  • Lead employee engagement and talent retention initiatives
  • Manage union relations and collective bargaining
  • Oversee performance management and compensation programs
  • Advise senior management on human capital issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience including 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Solid experience in labour relations and organizational development
  • Strong strategic leadership and change management skills
  • CHRP designation an asset
