A VP Engineering position is available with a Montreal-based technology and manufacturing organization. This senior leadership role involves overseeing all engineering functions including product development, process engineering and capital projects. You will define the technical roadmap and build a high-performing engineering team to support the company’s innovation and growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering strategy and technical roadmap
- Oversee product development, process engineering and R&D activities
- Manage the engineering department budget and capital projects
- Build, develop and retain a high-performing engineering team
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with operations, sales and quality teams on product launches
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master’s degree or MBA an asset
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience including senior leadership
- Member of the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- Bilingual French and English
