VP Operations

Description

A VP Operations position is available with a manufacturing organization on Montreal’s North Shore. The individual in this role will be responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of all operational activities across multiple production facilities. As a member of the executive team, you will drive operational excellence and support the company’s growth ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the multi-site operational strategy
  • Oversee production, supply chain, maintenance and quality functions
  • Manage operational P&L and optimize cost structures
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Develop and retain high-performing operations leadership teams
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning and capital investments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or operations management; MBA an asset
  • Minimum 15 years of operations experience including multi-site leadership
  • Strong track record of implementing lean manufacturing practices
  • Excellent strategic planning and P&L management skills
  • Bilingual French and English
