Payroll Supervisor

Description

A Payroll Supervisor position is available in Ville St-Laurent. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day payroll operations for a multi-site organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all payroll runs. You will also oversee payroll reporting and act as the primary liaison with external auditors and government agencies on payroll matters.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing for multiple sites
  • Review and approve payroll entries, adjustments and special payments
  • Manage government remittances and regulatory filings
  • Coordinate with the HR team on employee changes, leaves and benefits
  • Prepare payroll-related financial reports and reconciliations
  • Train and support payroll staff on processes and system updates

Requirements

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience including a supervisory role
  • PCP certification from the National Payroll Institute
  • Experience with multi-province payroll processing
  • Bilingual French and English
