Description
A Quality Director position is available with a manufacturing company in Monteregie. The person hired will lead all quality assurance and quality control activities, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with ISO and industry-specific standards. This role is critical to maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the organization’s reputation for product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the quality management system strategy
- Lead ISO certification audits and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage the QA/QC team and define quality objectives and KPIs
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce defect rates
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
- Manage supplier quality programs and incoming inspection processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management or related field
- Minimum 10 years of quality experience including 5 years in management
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry-specific quality standards
- Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ certification an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
