Operations Director

Description

An Operations Director position is available with a manufacturing company in Monteregie. The person hired will oversee all production, logistics, maintenance and quality operations. This strategic role requires a leader capable of optimizing processes, managing budgets and driving continuous improvement across the entire value chain.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee all manufacturing and logistics operations
  • Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage operational budgets and capital expenditure projects
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards
  • Develop and mentor production supervisors and operations managers
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on new product launches

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in manufacturing
  • Proven experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
  • Strong P&L management and budget oversight skills
  • Bilingual French and English
