Description
An Operations Director position is available with a manufacturing company in Monteregie. The person hired will oversee all production, logistics, maintenance and quality operations. This strategic role requires a leader capable of optimizing processes, managing budgets and driving continuous improvement across the entire value chain.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee all manufacturing and logistics operations
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage operational budgets and capital expenditure projects
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards
- Develop and mentor production supervisors and operations managers
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on new product launches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management or related field
- Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in manufacturing
- Proven experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Strong P&L management and budget oversight skills
- Bilingual French and English
