Accounting Technician

Company Description

Active in the field of electrical component manufacturing for a quarter of a century, our client has established itself as a key player in the sector. The company offers a wide range of efficient products, developed using advanced methods, mainly for the hydroelectric, solar and wind industries.

Job Offer: Accounting Technician

Main missions:

Accounting (60% of the time):

  • Integral management of the accounting cycle;
  • Accounts payable and receivable administration as well as payroll and benefits management;
  • Preparation of bank deposits;
  • Preparation of reports for public administrations and monitoring of tax obligations;
  • Contribution to the establishment of various accounting analyses;
  • Organization of the annual file for the financial statements and collaboration with the external chartered accountant during the closing of the financial year.

Administration (40% of the time):

  • Administrative support for management (writing, correction, layout, etc.);
  • Administrative management related to human resources;
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Computer input on different software.

Profile sought:

  • College diploma in accounting or equivalent;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Computer proficiency: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Asset: knowledge of the JobBoss software;
  • Written and oral bilingualism required;
    (Skills such as flexibility for a variety of tasks; ability to work alone or under pressure; meet tight deadlines; manage frequent changes in priorities.)

What we offer:

  • A full-time position: 38h30 per week with a fixed schedule – 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday; Friday until 3:00 p.m.
