In a context of labour shortage, retaining employees has become as strategic as hiring them. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A critical issue for the manufacturing sector<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In sectors such as <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/recruitment-firm-for-the-manufacturing-sector\/\">manufacturing<\/a>, voluntary departures represent a huge cost in terms of training, loss of productivity and overloading of teams. Key positions such as <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/production-supervisor\/\">production supervisor<\/a> or <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/production-manager\/\">production manager<\/a> require stability that is difficult to maintain without a clear HR strategy. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understand the reasons for departures<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lack of recognition, lack of career prospects or work overload&#8230; The reasons given are often avoidable. The role <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/director-of-human-resources\/\">of the human resources director<\/a> or <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/human-resources-business-partner\/\">HR business partner<\/a> is therefore to take the pulse of the teams before it is too late. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Better equipping managers<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Middle managers such as <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/plant-manager\/\">plant managers<\/a> or <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/director-health-safety-and-environment-hse\/\">HSE directors<\/a> must also be supported. Leadership programs, personalized coaching and human priority management promote a stable work environment. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competitive total compensation<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Loyalty also depends on attractive conditions. A <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/total-compensation-advisor\/\">total compensation advisor<\/a> plays an essential role in building a balanced salary policy, integrating bonuses, benefits and recognition. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Offering clear perspectives<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An employee who projects himself is an employee who stays. Setting up career paths, continuing education or access to senior positions such as <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/director-of-finance\/\">CFO<\/a> or <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/vice-president-human-resources\/\">VP HR<\/a> strengthens commitment. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Know when to outsource<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In some cases, <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/hr-outsourcing\/\">HR outsourcing<\/a> can support companies at risk of widespread disengagement. Outsourcing certain functions allows you to provide support without internal overload, while benefiting from the expertise of firms such as <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bcrh.ca\/en\/\">BCRH.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recruiting is essential, but so is retention.
